Consumer Agreement
Safecastle Royal Buyers Club membership is a trust and an entitlement earned not only by the membership fees involved, but also in the ongoing good conduct and best intentions of each club member. If, in the sole judgment of Safecastle management, a member's behavior in any way, at any time, or in any place is detrimental to Safecastle or club members, the offending member may be restricted in club access or removed altogether from club rolls. Members and non-members likewise may be restricted from using our site or purchasing products here at the discretion of the store owner.

Shipping & Delivery
At this time, we ship to the U.S. (except Alaska), and with our partners, internationally. Accepted carriers such as USPS, UPS, and Fed-Ex are normally used. Contracted dropshippers select their best high-quality shipping options. Free shipping offers are by standard ground transportation and apply only to customers in the lower 48 United States. We also offer specific Mountain House products in Canada and shipping charges are included in those list prices.

Many of our products are warehoused and shipped by various dropshippers around the U.S. Their policies are normally:  shipment within one to seven days. If we have your product on hand at Safecastle, we ship within 1-2 business days. International orders can take an additional week to process and ship in some cases.
If orders are returned, or cannot be delivered, we reserve the right to charge the customer to make additional shipping/delivery arrangements, or in some cases, for storage of an order until it can be delivered or picked up.
Payment in full is required before orders are processed. That includes orders for products that are dropshipped from the manufacturer or distributor. In many cases, those dropship orders ship same day or next day. But in other cases, orders may not process/ship for as long as two weeks, depending upon the supplier. Furthermore, if there are backorders, longer delays are possible. Of course, customers may cancel orders at any time before shipment and receive a full refund. Product pricing changes are effective immediately when posted. Those changes are not retroactive or applicable to prior purchases unless specifically indicated.
Transaction receipts are available online immediately within the customer's account (when logged in) and they are immediately emailed to the email address provided by the customer.

Special Offers, Effective Dates, Expiration Dates
Any effective date, expiration date, or other offer limitations with regard to a sale period, coupon, rebate, awarded gift certificate, or other offer within the Safecastle online store are firm and non-negotiable. It is solely the responsibility of the customer to be aware of those effective dates, expiration dates, and any other limitations connected to an offer, and to ensure they take advantage of those offers within the specified applicable parameters.  Memberships and other offers are expressly limited to one per household unless otherwise noted.

Sales Tax
Safecastle charges sales tax for merchandise ordered on this Web site based on required applicable state sales tax rates.

Return Policy
You may purchase merchandise from this Web site by using any one of the payment options listed in (link to Payment Options). Safecastle reserves the right to change its payment procedures at any time without prior notice to you.

We are happy to offer full refunds of the product price and shipping if the product is not what the buyer ordered/purchased and the product packaging remains unopened. We must be notified immediately after delivery of this type of shipping error. If the customer is otherwise unsatisfied for any reason and the product is returned undamaged within seven days, we offer a full refund of the bid price. The shipping charges are nonrefundable in this case. If the product is delivered to the buyer damaged, contact us immediately. All products shipped are covered by carrier insurance, and there may be special requirements for reporting and returning damaged shipments along with their packaging in order to get reimbursement. In many cases, we can also offer product exchanges in lieu of a refund, so contact Safecastle as soon as possible to determine your options as a valued customer.


MEMBER DISCOUNTS: Customers or club members are responsible for properly logging in and/or using applicable coupon codes in their transactions to ensure efficient and cost-effective processing of orders. If a purchase is made and subsequently a discount is found to have been warranted but not taken due to customer error, at the discretion of Safecastle management a Safecastle credit or voucher will be issued in lieu of a refund.

VOID WHERE PROHIBITED: Although the information on this Web site is accessible worldwide, not all products or services discussed in this Web site are available to all persons or in all geographic locations or jurisdictions. Safecastle reserves the right to limit the provision of their products or services to any person, geographic area, or jurisdiction they so desire and to limit the quantities of any products or services that they provide. Any offer for any product or service made in the materials on this Web site is void where prohibited. GOVERNING LAW: In the event of litigation both parties agree that the Law of California shall apply and both parties consent to the jurisdiction of the state courts of California, or in the event of diversity of citizenship, the United States District Court for the (District).
