At Safecastle, we respect your privacy. Any and all information collected on this site is kept strictly confidential and is not sold, disclosed to third parties (beyond those institutions involved in your financial transaction and/or our suppliers who may be involved in the fulfillment of your order) or reused without your permission. When we process an online order for you, we request necessary credit card and shipping info. The credit card data is processed and held by involved credit-card processing industry members. We do not have direct access to your credit card info. Your billing and shipping info is only used to process and ship your order. Phone numbers are required for shipping issues that could arise. (In the event a delivery company needs immediate delivery instructions or they have problems finding you, we need to be able to phone you and get answers promptly for them.) We do not call you unless there are issues or questions that cannot be addressed by email.
Non buyers club members: your email address is not used for any reason other than to communicate with you regarding your transactions. Buyers club members: you are initially automatically opted in to our email list which is used to communicate news and promotional info regarding our site and products. You can permanently opt out of that email distribution list at any time by using the link provided on each email.
We take every precaution to protect your sensitive information. Our site is compliant with PCI credit card processing standards and our systems, web store, and site host are continually secured, monitored, and audited by network security specialists. Your credit card data is always transmitted in encrypted form and stored by secure financial institutions involved in the processing of our transactions. We do not have access to that data.
In the course of processing your transactions, our employees only have access to the necessary info needed to ship your packages, and they securely protect your information from access by other parties.
