There is nothing better than gluten free cornbread mix, a simple, delicious bread that tastes like home cooking from your grandmother or mother. When you eat a warm piece of cornbread, you are reminded of simpler times as a kid by the anticipation of putting your favorite spread, such as honey or butter, on it. In addition to baking cornbread in a muffin tin, you can also bake it in a cast iron pan for great cornbread muffins.

It is a staple in the South for great, delicious, warm reasons - especially with soups like chili soup, or alongside ribs, collard greens, steak, beans, and the classic eggs and bacon with maple syrup.

To make it, simply preheat your oven to 400 F, combine cornbread mix with 2 1/4 cups of water, and blend until everything is evenly dispersed. Pour this batter into a lightly greased pan, skillet or muffin tins before baking for 20 minutes - or until done!
