Introducing the Vibe Bixpy-Ready Gravity Rudder, the first rudder in the market designed to seamlessly attach a motor. With this product, you can unscrew the bottom portion of the rudder in seconds and attach your Bixpy J-2 Motor directly onto the rudder. This innovative feature makes it stand out from other rudders in the market.

Installation is made easy with the molded 10mm stainless steel pin that fits all Vibe kayaks and can replace most other manufacturer rudders in seconds. Bixpy Gravity Rudder comes with a double-hinged, 90° Slide & Stow mechanism, which allows you to get the rudder completely out of the water in no time.

The rudder's gravity-driven locking mechanism ensures that the rudder stays in place when in forward or reverse motion. It easily "unlocks" and pops up to protect your motor and rudder in shallow water. You can use your existing rudder steering system to steer your rudder or choose from a variety of options in our Steering Options.

FEATURES & SPECIFICATIONS

  • Fits any standard rudder 10mm pinhole for easy mounting.

  • Equipped with a gravity deployment system that allows you to quickly deploy the rudder blade.

  • Features a 90° Slide & Stow feature that enables you to get the rudder blade out of the water in a heartbeat.

  • Comes with a gravity "Lock-down" mechanism for reverse speeds, ensuring that the rudder stays in place.

  • Features an 18in. x 4in. rudder blade that provides reliable and stable steering control.

  • The kick-up feature allows the rudder blade to pop up in shallow water or when encountering obstacles, preventing damage to the rudder blade.

  • Comes with a removable cap for easy mounting of the Bixpy Jet Motor onto the rudder.

  • The top of the pin to the top of the motor measures 12.25 inches or 305 mm, and the pin length is 85 mm. The gap from the pin to the blade is 38 mm.

  • To achieve optimal performance, ensure that the Bixpy motor is positioned about 2" to 3" below the waterline.
