The common bean was domesticated about 7,000 years ago in the Peruvian Andes and southern Mexico and is one of the oldest foods known to man. It was the earliest food crop cultivated in the Americas. There were many small-seeded bean varieties developed by the Aztecs, Mayans, and Toltecans, while the Incas developed bright and lively large-seeded bean varieties.

  • People who enjoy hiking and backpacking and need a light, nutritious meal

  • Planners looking for food that will last a long time in an emergency

  • Bean lovers looking for an easy and healthy way to eat.

  • For those with food allergies who are looking for an allergen-free bean product

You can cook canned small red beans on the stovetop, in a slow cooker, or pressure cooker. To prepare the beans on the stovetop, rinse them and add them to water. Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30 mins or 1 hour, or until the beans are tender.

How to Use:

The following are a few recipes you can use red beans in:

  • Add them to soups, stews, and chili.

  • Prepare red bean rice or red bean burgers.

  • Make refried beans or hummus with them.

  • Serve them with salads or pasta.

It is well known that beans are the most nutritionally complete food available, as they contain a high amount of protein, iron, magnesium, zinc, potassium, and soluble fiber. In addition to being rich in complex carbohydrates, proteins, dietary fiber, folate, and vitamins and minerals, beans have been a key ingredient in a healthy diet for everyone. There is no cholesterol or fat in beans.

The product is manufactured and packaged by Future Essentials and will keep your family and yourself safe in times of uncertainty. Freeze Dried, Dehydrated, and Air Dried foods are cheaper to buy than wet foods because they do not contain as much water. In addition to the excellent taste and nutritional value, air drying/dehydrating allows for the storage of natural and additive-free foods for long periods of time. No preservatives or additives!

Beans may reduce the risk of heart disease and certain cancers.
