The K8 is a small discreet alarming ratemeter for detecting radiation and radioactive materials nearby, protecting you from radiation exposure. All units are tested using a NIST traceable radiation source.

LED Indicators
Green LED flashes approx. every 5 seconds at .5 mR/hr (5 mSv/hr), 2.5 seconds at 1 mR/hr (10 mSv/hr), flashes rapidly every 1 second at 2 mR/hr, and every 30 min. indicating natural radiation. Red LED flashes at approx. 10 mR/hr (100 mSv/hr), custom settable are available. Yellow LED is on when battery needs replacing
