Installation
We put 2-1/2 to 30 yards of concrete under each shelter. The shelters have up to 25 anchors under them. The anchors attach the shelter to the concrete. The cost of the concrete is included in your installation price.
When installed, the shelter weighs between 10,000 and 25,000 pounds.
Our shelters can be installed under the foundation of your future home, or adjacent to an existing building. As an example, a small pantry or storage room can be added to an existing home to accommodate our shelter entryway.
Visit our Installation Gallery for pictures and descriptions of shelter installations.
We Routinely Install Shelters in Most Areas of the United States
However ...
... Where the water level is within about 5' or less of the surface there will be an additional charge.
... Where the ground is very hard such as iron ore or rock, where digging is almost impossible, the homeowner must incur the extra cost for the excavation.
